Week 8

G'day all

I can't believe that this is the last post for the semester and the last post I'll publish for an AMEP class for a very very long time!

Well I think you all had an enjoyable time on the excursion last Thursday! I know I did! I hope you weren't too concerned when we headed towards Wollongong on the way home!!! You did get to see a magnificient view of the coast down to Kiama! That was an added bonus!

Naturally, your first task today is to write a recount of the excursion. You can look at the slideshow to jog your memory about what we saw!

When you've done that, you can use the time to perfect your powerpoint for tomorrow if you wish.

If you don't need to do that, then watch this episode of The Road Less Travelled. Here is the audio and  these are the activities For those of you who want to follow the serial to the end then look at Cork2010 and you'll find the rest of it there in the posts.

Have a look at Issues in English in the start up menu. Choose a topic that interests you and complete some of the activities. When you've done that, send me an email (address on the board) with a short summary of what you read/listened to and what kinds of activities you completed ie grammar/comprehension etc.

Well, that brings me to the end of this blog for the semester! I hope you've enjoyed your time learning English with us and I wish you all the very best for the future! Those of you who are leaving St George, I hope that one day you'll come back to study here! For those of you staying to do other courses here then don't forget to say 'hello' when you see me! And remember, you can always look at the blog any time you like!
